Revv Marketplace – Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to Revv Marketplace ("Revv", "we", "us", "our"), an online platform that enables users to buy and sell new and used motorcycle gear, including but not limited to gloves, clothing, and accessories.

By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use our services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts to use Revv Marketplace.

6.1 Payment reversals and chargebacks

Where a buyer's payment is reversed by their bank or card provider (a "chargeback"), or is refunded under our dispute or Buyer Protection processes, the related sale is treated as cancelled. If a payout for that sale has already been released to the seller, the seller authorises Revv and our payment provider to recover the corresponding amount from the seller's balance or future payouts, which may result in a negative balance that is recovered from subsequent sales. Revv will, where appropriate, contest chargebacks on the seller's behalf using available delivery and transaction evidence. Where a chargeback is resolved in the seller's favour, the seller's payout for that sale will be released to them in full.

8.1 Returns following a chargeback or refund

If a buyer receives a refund for an item they have received — whether through a chargeback raised with their bank or through our dispute process — the buyer must return that item to the seller. Unless the item was not received, or a return is otherwise agreed with us, the buyer is responsible for returning the item, at the buyer's own cost, within 14 days of the refund being issued, using a tracked service and providing the tracking details to Revv. Retaining both the item and a refund is not permitted. Failure to return the item within this period may result in the buyer's account being suspended or terminated, and Revv may take reasonable steps to recover the value of the item.

11. User Conduct and Objectionable Content

Users agree not to:

Revv has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behaviour. Any user-generated content (including listings, images, profiles, and messages) that breaches these terms is prohibited.

You can report objectionable content or users from within the app using the report and block tools provided. We review every report and will remove offending content and eject the responsible users within 24 hours of the report being received. Users who post objectionable content or abuse others may have their content removed and their accounts suspended or permanently terminated without notice.

12. Intellectual Property

12.1 Platform Content

All platform content, branding, and materials are owned by Revv Marketplace unless otherwise stated. Users may not reproduce or distribute content without permission.

12.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of the photos, images, text, and other content you upload to Revv ("User Content"). By uploading User Content, you grant Revv a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute that content for the purposes of operating, promoting, and improving the platform. This licence ends when you delete the relevant User Content or your account, except to the extent the content has been shared with others who have not deleted it, or where we are required to retain it by law.

You represent and warrant that you own or have all necessary rights to the User Content you upload, and that it does not infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party. You are solely responsible for the User Content you post.

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

20. Disclaimer on Safety Equipment

Buyers acknowledge that motorcycle gear is safety-critical equipment. Revv does not guarantee the protective effectiveness of any item sold on the platform. Users should ensure items meet applicable safety standards before use.
