Revv Marketplace – Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to Revv Marketplace ("Revv", "we", "us", "our"), an online platform that enables users to buy and sell new and used motorcycle gear, including but not limited to gloves, clothing, and accessories.

By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use our services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts to use Revv Marketplace.

3. Nature of the Platform

Revv Marketplace operates as an intermediary platform connecting buyers and sellers.

• We are not a party to any transaction between users.
• We do not take ownership of listed items.
• We do not guarantee the quality, safety, authenticity, or legality of items listed.

4. User Accounts

Users must:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Keep login details secure
• Accept responsibility for all activity under their account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion.

5. Listings and Sales

5.1 Seller

Sellers must:

• Accurately describe items
• Clearly state condition (new, used, refurbished)
• Disclose defects or damage
• Ensure items comply with UK safety laws (e.g. Safety ratings from manufacturers)

5.2 Prohibited Listings

You may not list:

• Counterfeit goods
• Stolen items
• Unsafe or non-compliant protective gear
• Any item prohibited by UK law

6. Pricing and Payments

• Sellers set their own prices
• Revv may charge service or transaction fees (clearly disclosed)
• Payments are processed via third-party providers

We are not responsible for payment processing delays or failures.

7. Shipping and Delivery

• Sellers are responsible for shipping items
• Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed
• Risk passes to the buyer upon delivery unless otherwise stated

8. Returns and Refunds

• Returns are governed by the seller's stated policy
• Buyers should review listings carefully before purchase
• Revv may assist in dispute resolution but does not guarantee outcomes

9. Buyer Protection

• Claims must be submitted within a specified timeframe
• Evidence may be required
• Revv reserves final decision-making authority

10. Fees

Revv may charge:

• Listing fees
• Transaction fees
• Payment processing fees

All fees will be clearly communicated prior to use.

11. User Conduct and Objectionable Content

Users agree not to:

• Use the platform for fraudulent purposes
• Misrepresent items
• Circumvent platform fees
• Harass or abuse other users
• Post, list, or transmit content that is unlawful, hateful, threatening, defamatory, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable

Revv has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behaviour. Any user-generated content (including listings, images, profiles, and messages) that breaches these terms is prohibited.

You can report objectionable content or users from within the app using the report and block tools provided. We review every report and will remove offending content and eject the responsible users within 24 hours of the report being received. Users who post objectionable content or abuse others may have their content removed and their accounts suspended or permanently terminated without notice.

12. Intellectual Property

All platform content, branding, and materials are owned by Revv Marketplace unless otherwise stated. Users may not reproduce or distribute content without permission.

13. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• Revv shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• We are not responsible for user-generated content or transactions
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.

14. Indemnity

Users agree to indemnify Revv against claims arising from:

• Breach of these terms
• Misuse of the platform
• Violation of laws or third-party rights

15. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if users:

• Breach these terms
• Engage in suspicious or illegal activity

16. Data Protection

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK GDPR laws.

17. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any changes.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
