Deleting your Revv Market account
You can request deletion of your Revv Market account and associated data at any time.
How to delete your account
In the app
- Open the Revv Market app and sign in.
- Go to Profile → My Account.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. If you have active orders in progress (an item paid for and not yet delivered, or an open dispute), you'll be asked to wait until those are completed or resolved before your account can be deleted — this protects both you and the other party while money is held or an item is in transit. Once they're finished, you can delete your account from the same screen.
By email
Alternatively, email support@revvmarket.com from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my account", and we'll process your request. We aim to action deletion requests within 30 days.
What data is deleted
When your account is deleted, we remove:
- Your profile information (name, bio and profile photo);
- Your listings and their photos;
- Your saved delivery and return addresses;
- Your device notification tokens;
- Your sign-in details — your account is anonymised so that your email address and username no longer identify you.
What data is kept, and for how long
For legal, tax, accounting and fraud-prevention reasons, and to resolve any disputes, we retain a record of completed transactions (orders) in anonymised form — no longer linked to your identity. Financial and transaction records are kept only for as long as the law requires (for example, UK tax and accounting rules generally require such records to be kept for up to 6 years), after which they are deleted. Reviews you have left may remain visible in anonymised form.
